Carrie was born and raised in Southern California. Soccer was always a big part of her life growing up. Being a part of a team and having people to push you and build you up was invaluable to her. It’s why group fitness classes have become so important to her as an adult. While living in Asia she met her husband, though their hometowns were only an hour away from each other. She never thought she’d marry someone in the military, nor had she even known anybody in the military. Being a military wife and stay at home mom can have its challenges, but she is also extremely grateful. She and her husband Nick have three little ones, and have moved five times, including internationally, since they’ve been together. Raising kids takes a village, and always living far away from family Carrie must find that village wherever she moves. Gyms like Athena often become part of her village, and a saving grace for her mental health!

She is passionate about her children. She always knew she wanted to have children, and nothing has given her more joy than getting to be their mom.

She is wildly happy when connecting with others. She is a true extrovert and values deep friendships and connections.

She feels most confident when exercising. Feeling strong and powerful creates such a sense of accomplishment. 

She is terrified of having regrets. Which is why she strives for a “let’s do it” attitude.

She never grows old of being with family and friends and traveling!

She is inspired by the kindness of strangers. Acts of kindness are felt deeply and have a ripple effect.
