Welcome to Athena:

Your Member Guide

You didn’t just join a gym, you stepped into a space designed to support your evolution. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all fitness. We believe in training with intention, respecting your body as data, and building strength that translates into real life.

We are honored to be part of your journey. To help you settle in, here is everything you need to know about our community.

1. The Athena Arrival

  • Check-In: Head to the front desk and give us your name. Our instructors will handle the rest, but this helps us get to know you!

  • Say Cheese: While you’re there, we’ll take a quick photo for our staff use in Mindbody. We love learning faces and names so we can welcome you personally every time you walk in.

  • Hydration: We have a drinking fountain available, but we do not sell bottled beverages. Please bring your own reusable water bottle!

2. Gear & Stability

  • The Right Foundation: For lifting days, we highly recommend flat shoes, lifting shoes, or going barefoot. This ensures stability and safety. Save the tennis shoes for our high-impact days!

  • Storage: We have cubbies for bags and hooks for coats. Please keep bulky items out of the equipment areas to keep the floor safe.

  • Mats & Props: We provide mats and blocks. If you are joining us for yoga, you are welcome to bring your own personal bolster or blankets for extra comfort.

3. Protecting the Peace (Kids & Pups)

We are a family-friendly space, but to ensure everyone gets their "hour of quiet," we have a few safety boundaries:

  • For the Kids: Children must stay in the Kid’s Room, the Lobby couch, or sitting quietly against the wall in the Small Group room. For safety, they may not use equipment, run in the studio, or handle retail items. Please do a quick sweep of toys/snacks before you leave!

  • For the Pups: Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a leash! In the Small Group Room, please use the provided floor anchors. To protect members with allergies, dogs are not permitted on workout mats or in the Wood Floor Room. If your pup is vocal or sheds, please help us keep the peace (and the floor) by addressing barking or doing a quick vacuum after class.

4. Community & Content

Social media is a huge part of how our community grows! We often take photos or videos during class for that purpose.

  • Your Privacy: While your waiver gives us permission, we respect your bodily autonomy above all else. If you do not wish to be filmed, please just tell us! We are more than happy to oblige.

Why Athena is Different

Athena was never meant to be just a place to work out. It’s a space to reconnect with your body, rebuild trust with yourself, and step into a stronger, more grounded version of who you are.

We aren't here for quick fixes or surface-level change. We are here for long-term transformation—physically, mentally, and emotionally. You’ll find strength here, but you’ll also find a community that genuinely wants to see you win.

We’re excited to grow alongside you.

Stay Powerful,

Tiffany & The Athena Team
