Amy was born and raised Canadian. She moved to Seattle in 2003 as a nanny and has been here long enough to hear what a Canadian accent sounds like! She took a Dental Assisting Course in 2006 and then got married and had four kiddos who are now 5, 8, 10, and 12 years old. Buti Yoga found her just before a tough time in her life. It brought her the confidence, peace and release she needed and this is what she continues to embrace through this journey of life. She decided to become an instructor because it was completely out of her comfort zone, but something drew her to it. You know when you find this amazing thing and you just want to share it with everyone? That is Buti Yoga for her! She loves to meet together on our mats and find this amazing movement as medicine and connection for our hearts, minds, souls, and bodies! She loves to mix up great beats and let the music take us out of our heads and into the movement. She really likes to travel and she loves yoga so she has future goals to travel and teach yoga once she completes her 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training.

She never grows old of stopping to smell the flowers which her Grandma always did.

She is inspired by people doing and sharing what they are passionate about.
