Athena's mission is to redefine female-focused fitness and build community through education about what it means to love our bodies and live our best lives. Our team is essential to that mission, bringing passion, and individual experience to every moment.

Brittany Garside

Meet Brittany!  You will find her teaching HIIT Pilates.

She is passionate about helping others find their “sparkle”. Movement is not exercise to her- it’s about growth of mind and soul, strength in resilience, and helping others transform. She is passionate about creating spaces where people feel supported and inspired. She gets energized by shaping ideas into something fresh and impactful.

She is wildly happy when in nature or creating new memories with her family- her husband Nick and toddler Gemma.

She is most confident when her actions align with her values.

She is not terrified of many things, most deeper fears boil down to loss of alignment- not making an impact, not living up to her own vision, or not having balance in life. A surface fear she is terrified of is snakes.

She never grows tired of fresh flowers, bubble baths, and a really good dance party- not all at the same time :)

She is inspired by transformation stories and finding confidence. Also inspired by nature and traveling- from the beaches of Bali to the forests of Washington, she draws energy and creativity from the environment, especially spaces that feel grounding yet expansive.

Education/Credentials/Certifications:

300 hr RYT, level 1 and 2 Inferno Hot Pilates, 100 hr mat pilates, 50 hr Yoga Sculpt, 100 hr Yin Yoga
